European Folklore Week is organised by the Boa Nova Folklore and Ethnography Group and is held every year in the Funchal Municipal Garden. Visitors can see traditional dances and listen to folk music performed by various regional, national and European groups.

The festival gives visitors an opportunity to interact with other cultures and learn about the cultural realities of other ethnic groups.
