Santa Catarina Chapel

Capela de Santa Catarina Santa Catarina Chapel

In this chapel we can find traces of Manueline architecture, such as the Cross of Christ, the holy water font carved in stone and the small bell. At the end of the 17th century the chapel was rebuilt and the porch with Mannerist traces was added. The carved altarpiece of the chancel, in neoclassical style, was built in the late 18th century, early 19th century, when its interior was redesigned.
