The Universe of Memories is home to a vast collection of items donated to the Region by the former Regional Secretary of Tourism and Culture.
The collection, which contains articles from all around the world, resulted from the many journeys and experiences João Carlos Abreu had during his professional career.

Funchal, the capital of the Madeira archipelago, was declared a city in the 1500s, and became an important point between the old and new worlds.
